The 3rd Sphere

The 3rd sphere is created for Fabrication Lab (a.k.a. FabLab) workshop in University of the Philippines Cebu.

A group of both professional and non-professional designers from different fields such as architecture, product design, and even management were gathered to come up with a solution for higher productivity of workers.

Thinking  home as a 1st sphere and workplace as a 2nd sphere, we came up with an idea that there should be a something more to help people's productivity, which designers suggest as the 3rd sphere.

As the precedent of succeeding companies shows the workers requires enough rest time to achieve maximum productivity.

​

Project the 3rd sphere suggests to give workers a multimedia communicating space through an architectural form. This design is modular, buildable and easy to customize. It allows to build an indoor space with an outdoor space.
